RETURN POLICY
VARTHAALI PRIVATE LIMITED
At VARTHAALI PRIVATE LIMITED ("Varthaali",
"Company", "we", "our", or "us"), we
are committed to ensuring a reliable and satisfying shopping experience for our
customers.
VARTHAALI PRIVATE LIMITED is a company incorporated under
the Companies Act, 2013 having Corporate Identity Number (CIN)
U47912TS2025PTC208460, Permanent Account Number (PAN) AALCV7083N and Goods and
Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) 36AALCV7083N1ZF, with its Registered
Office at 4th FLR, Bizness Square, Hitec City, Madhapur, Shaikpet, Hyderabad –
500081, Telangana, India.
For GST and operational purposes, the principal place of
business is located at 7th Floor, Plot No. 16, Pioneer Towers, APIIC Madhapur,
Hitech City, Hyderabad – 500081, Telangana, India.
We operate both as:
- An
e-commerce marketplace connecting buyers with independent third-party
sellers; and
- A
retail seller for certain products that VARTHAALI PRIVATE LIMITED directly
procures and sells.
The Return Policy below applies to all purchases made
through the Varthaali platform.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Products
are eligible for return only if they are damaged, defective, incorrect, or
not as described at the time of delivery.
- Products
must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a valid
invoice.
- Certain
items, including but not limited to perishable goods, personal care items,
intimate wear, and items marked as “Non-Returnable,” are not eligible for
return.
- “Deal
of the Day” products are generally not eligible for
return or refund unless they arrive damaged, defective, or
incorrect.
2. Return Request Timeline
- Return
requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of
delivery.
- Requests
made after this period may not be accepted unless required under
applicable consumer laws.
3. Return Process
- Customers
must raise a return request through the Varthaali app, providing order
details and clear photographs showing the issue.
- Once
approved, our seller, Varthaali’s logistics team, or an authorized partner
will arrange pickup where possible. In some cases, customers may need to
self-ship the item to the provided address.
- For
Varthaali’s own inventory items, verification will be completed directly
by our team. For marketplace items, verification will be done by the
respective seller.
4. Refunds
- Refunds
will be initiated after successful receipt and quality verification of the
returned product.
- Refunds
will be processed to the original payment method or as Varthaali credits,
based on the customer’s preference where applicable.
- Shipping
and handling fees are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to
an error by Varthaali or the seller.
- Some
Products from “Deal of the Day” are non-refundable except
in cases of damage, defect, or wrong item delivery. Customers should read
the description before ordering the products in “Deal of the Day”.
5. Seller and Varthaali Responsibility
- For
third-party seller items, the seller is responsible for processing returns
in line with applicable laws.
- For
Varthaali’s own products, we take full responsibility for return and
refund decisions under this policy.
VARTHAALI PRIVATE LIMITED is an e-commerce platform
facilitating the sale of goods and services from independent third-party
sellers to customers and also sells certain products directly as a merchant of
record.
The Company does not charge any joining fee, registration
fee, or commission for recruitment. Any cashback, rewards, or promotional
benefits are linked solely to genuine product purchases and are subject to
applicable taxes and tax deductions at source (TDS) under Indian law.
VARTHAALI PRIVATE LIMITED operates in compliance with
applicable Indian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer
Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Information Technology Act, 2000, and
other applicable laws governing e-commerce activities in India.
